DESCRIPTION:Kodaly’s Missa Brevis was composed in early 1945 during the B
 attle of Budapest\, and  written in the cellar of the Budapest Opera Hous
 e.  It was adapted from his earlier Organ Mass.  The mass starts with an
  Introitus\, followed by the 6 traditional parts of the Mass (Kyrie\, Glor
 ia\, Credo\, Sanctus\, Benedictus and Agnus Dei)\, and concludes with “I
 te missa est”.\n\nDvorak’s mass in D was written in 1887 for soloists\
 , choir and organ.  This popular work is simple yet expressive\, being fu
